Taiwan Moss (Taxiphyllum alternans) — a classic aquarium moss for aquascaping and shrimp tanks. It grows in flat, fern-like fronds that hang slightly, which gives a neater, more layered look than Java moss.

Care
Attach a thin layer to wood, stone or a mesh pad with thread or glue and it will anchor itself within a few weeks. Trim regularly to keep it dense; loose trimmings can be re-attached. Moss gives shrimp and their young the biofilm and cover they need, which is why it belongs in every shrimp tank.
