Care
Like other Neocaridina davidi varieties, these dwarf shrimp do best in a mature, stable planted aquarium with mosses and plenty of hiding places. Acclimate them slowly, keep water values stable rather than chasing exact numbers, and feed sparingly with biofilm, algae and a quality shrimp food. They are peaceful tank mates for a shrimp community; keep in mind that most fish will eat shrimplets. In suitable freshwater conditions they can reproduce without a saltwater stage, although breeding results are never guaranteed.
Live animals vary naturally in colour intensity and pattern. Product photographs represent the variety, not the exact individual you will receive.
