Microworms
Microworms – an excellent food for growing fry and an alternative to Artemia
Microworms (Panagrellus redivivus) are an excellent live food for slightly grown fry and can serve as a great alternative to Artemia. They are especially suitable for bottom-dwelling fry, such as Corydoras catfish, as well as labyrinth, characin, and killifish species. Due to their small size (0.5–2 mm), microworms are easily consumed by young fish and provide optimal nutrition during the first weeks of life.
Why choose microworms?

Great choice for catfish fry – particularly beneficial for Corydoras fry that feed near the bottom.
Easy to culture – they don’t require special conditions and can be cultivated on oatmeal or mashed potatoes.
High nutritional value – rich in proteins and fats that promote fast growth.
Long-lasting cultures – can be maintained for months by regularly refreshing the substrate.
